Caccianemici BioAutoctona is a company based in Sasso Marconi (BO) made up of three people: Giovanni, Antonio and Walter. It has been certified organic with ICEA from the 2021 harvest on 50% of the company while the remaining part is in conversion. All three in their fifties or little more who founded this company in 2020 in full pandemic to be able to work in agriculture with the main objective of conducting virtuous agricultural practices with a high level of sustainability and low environmental impact following a conscious ethics. Caccianemici BioAutoctona has rented a structure consisting of a cellar and a quantity of vineyard area of 3.5ha in Mongardino di Sasso Marconi and has planted and acquired existing vineyards equal to an area of 2.5ha in Scopeto di Sasso Marconi. In Mongardino, ideas are developed related to what was found at home characterized by grapes such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Picolit, Chardonnay while in Scopeto in the new plants the work is focused exclusively on native varieties such as Grechetto Gentile, Alionza, Negretto and Barbera. The latter is the primary project of BioAutoctonous Caccianemici. The agricultural part is completed with the presence of a further 5ha of properties also in Scopeto cultivated with arable land with rotations and from which fodder, durum wheat and ancient wheat, legumes for the production of grain, flour and pasta are produced. It is therefore a small company that has decided to produce grapes, wine and other agri-food products following an authentic logic of belonging to a local area, recovering abandoned experiences and awareness.
