XFarm bases its work with the land on organic and regenerative agriculture approaches. We regenerate the soil through practices that increase fertility, valorizing farm waste and self-production. We stimulate the recovery and increase of plant and social biodiversity.
Our Brushko wine is produced from 10 hectares of Lambrusco vineyards, found on confiscated land. Brushko is the result of spontaneous fermentation and natural vinification processes, as well as passionate care for the land and the vines that grow there. Born in 2023 through a collaboration with Masseria La Cattiva (Bari), Brushko wine symbolizes further renewal in the XFarm vineyard, moving from selling Lambrusco grapes destined for blending other, more prestigious wines, to a new awareness: value is generated by caring for the entire production process.
The agronomic management practices have always been based on organic and regenerative agriculture, but the farm decided to officially become certified in 2022. For this reason, the wines produced in 2023 and 2024 do not have the certificate on the label because in those years the company was still formally in the process of converting.
