My name is Verger Romain and I am from Saint Laurent de la Plaine in Maine et Loire. My training in the nursery, then the years of work in the field of agriculture (viticulture, beekeeping, arboriculture, breeding, market gardening ...) have forged my skills today. Over the years, I got closer to organic viticulture and so-called natural wines. My name is Lucie Faderne Verger I am from Limoges, trained as a gerontopsychologist. I have worked with elderly and disabled people. Following the loss I decided to combine respect for human well-being and my passion for horses with a job, turning to equitherapy and working in the vines with animal traction. We want to produce living wines with as little input as possible, the use of products in the vines is reduced to copper and sulfur accompanied by herbal teas and plant manure. We want our daughter and her friends to be able to walk in the vineyards without fear. Respect for nature will go through the establishment of a deposit on the bottles, with a maximum delivery distance of 100 kilometers. The estate consists of 2 hectares of vines and 80 ares of meadow, a cellar, a dryer, a sheepfold. The conversion to organic farming will be made in 2020, The RTEs will be produced on an old meadow which has not known any synthetic products. The vines are divided into 4 plots of which 2 were carried out in conventional agriculture, in recent years the use of weedkillers was absent. The other plots are plots cultivated organically for more than 5 years. Most of the plots are located in Faye-d'Anjou, 10 kilometers from the cellar. The future will be to buy plots near the cellar and be able to make less than 2 kilometers to get there.
