Mas de Jacquet - Vincent Solive et Alexi Viguier
It was in 2002 that Vincent Solive bought the Mas de Jacquet, this beautiful estate located in Vic la Gardiole, a stone's throw from the Mediterranean Sea, and at the same time became a winegrower. Here, total respect is given to the grapes and vines thanks to organic farming. The grape variety is composed of Muscat à petits grains, Cinsault, Mourvèdre, Grenache Gris & Noir. The treatments and our interventions are intended to be minimalist to promote biodiversity on our clay-limestone plots bordering the Bois des Aresquiers classified Natura 2000. Our 15 hectares of vines are pruned in goblet to promote the flow of natural sap and the harvest is manual. In 2017, Alexi Viguier (winemaker's grandson) joined the estate. Together they vinify cuvées that reflect the marine terroir where salinity and freshness are the key words. Vinification with indigenous yeasts without inputs or artifices. Slight addition of sulfur to certain cuvées during bottling.
