I created "Le Domaine du Verdouble" and I settled in a private cellar on the Cucugnan terroir, aware of being the custodian of a rare and precious heritage: Terroir with exceptional viticultural qualities, unique historical environment, active cultural environment supported by private actors and dynamic institutions… Although 80% of my vines are A.O.C. Corbières, I have chosen for all my wines (Corbières included), the Vin de Pays de Cucugnan appellation. Long used as a “sub-class” of the AOC, the “Vin de Pays” appellation is once again becoming a witness to the particularities of a terroir. I am a winegrower in the Pays de Cucugnan, and I am committed, in the vineyard: To promote the natural life of the soil, to protect the soil.
