The vineyard, with an area of 6 hectares, is mainly composed of Grenache, Syrah, Viognier, Vermentino, Cinsault and Carignan. We work our vines with respect for the plant. The entire estate is certified as Organic Agriculture.
The soils are worked mechanically on the pebble terroirs as well as in the plantations in order to encourage the root network to develop in depth to limit water stress in the event of a drought (we do not practice irrigation, of course). As for the old vines, we favor grassing in the inter-row, chosen or spontaneous.
We have been broadcasting our Syrah and Grenache for 3 years now (fava bean, forage pea, vetch, grasses) in order to establish a plant cover, naturally aerated soils with organic matter over time and living flora to feed the surrounding fauna. We strive to do as few antifungal treatments as possible (Bordeaux mixture / sulfur) while keeping a close eye so as not to let any possible diseases spread in the spring.
All our vines are harvested manually in crates of 15kg maximum in order to limit the crushing and crushing of the grapes. The wines do not undergo any intervention such as sulfiting, yeasting or filtration during vinification. All fermentations are made exclusively from indigenous yeasts naturally present on the grapes.
No rose wines at the moment.
