I am Ian LU, I created the estate in 2014, this project was born from a relationship with the land that was cultivated for a long time… and beautiful encounters. The first, blue eyes (vintage 2013) to whom I owe the discovery of Hérault, the second W. Wagemans (the 3-legged goat) with whom I launched my domain, A. Pruffer (the time of cherries ) who guided me towards natural wines since my beginnings, J. Bellegarde (domaine du Colombier) sensei and many others! So much for my journey. As far as the vines are concerned, the estate currently has 2 hectares of vines, the majority of which are Grenache spread over the municipalities of Colombières sur Orb and Mons La Trivalle. Attention is focused on the environment, in particular the soil because, as M. Provost likes to say (bandage nature), taking over a certain C. Bernard, whatever the disease, only the state of the ground counts. My quest is therefore the search for a balance, well helped by the Bio Electronics of L.C. Vincent with a last reflection on the question what is a farmer? It is someone who grows his soil…. The soil is worked superficially on the first centimeters, with green manures and dolomite amendments (acid soils). The vines are pruned short (goblet, royat), use of sulfur copper zinc boron magnesium, liquid manure, decoction as needed. Organic certification in progress.  The wines are made each year according to their grapes harvested manually, the vintage and my ideas, moreover the result is always different from the initial idea but always surprising, they are therefore very alive with their beautiful personalities! Each cuvée is therefore unique and limited (maximum 3000 bottles in general rather 1500) 2 to 3 cuvées per year!
