Following on from Domaine Léonine, established in 2005, Caroline and Stéphane decided in 2019 to create a wine merchant business. Bascule SAS was born. Drinking wine is a pleasure, but making it is exhilarating! It's the joy of a glass "tipped" by our friends and customers that motivates us to create the Bascule wines.
It involves buying grapes and carrying out all the steps of natural winemaking, respecting the genetic material, the harvest, and the expression of each terroir we vinify. The use of exogenous yeasts is prohibited, as are fining and filtration. The use of SO2 is minimal, only when necessary. The wines should be easy to drink and enjoyable, with as few barriers as possible between the grape and the glass.
No sparkling wines at the moment.
