Emile & Rose (ex-Domaine des 1000 Roses) - Caroline & Marcel Gisclard
It is in the heart of Languedoc-Roussillon in the small village of Corneilhan, very close to Béziers that Caroline and Marcel Gisclard took over in 2004 the family vineyard inherited from the grandparents. In order to pay tribute to them, the estate was named Emile and Rose, corresponding to the first names of the ancestors of the family.
Covering an area of 9.50 ha, this vineyard is made up of plots in small hillsides, of low yield, where carignan, aramon, cinsault, grenache, etc. live side by side.
Here we are in organic farming and we produce excellent micro-cuvées. The specificity of the estate is the famous white Carignan planted by the ancestors. The harvest is manual, natural vinification and aging is done in barrels and jars.
