Organic and biodynamic winemaker, I cultivate a family vineyard which includes the plots of Grand Launay, Haut Lorettes, Lion Noir and Canterane Le Pin Franc. I chose the path of organic wines and biodynamics for the environmental requirement and the identity of the wines which results from it. Our vintages are produced mainly on the Côtes de Bourg appellation. Also, our vineyards benefit from a varied landscape and a preserved ecosystem. The grape varieties are Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. We also cultivate white varieties with a majority of Sauvignon gris. We practice peasant, social and regenerative soil agriculture. On the resting plots and in our rows of vines, we sow Wolff mixes, faba bean and other green manures. By Biodynamics and preparations like the 500 (horn dung) and the 501 (horn silica), we practice gentle methods in accordance with the lunar and astronomical calendar. The care of the plant is exclusively of natural origin and based on plants in energized infusions / herbal teas. The harvest is determined according to the maturity of each plot, but also according to the influences of the astronomical calendar. The vinifications are not very interventionist: soft extractions and no chemical input, indigenous yeasts, aging in concrete tanks for the respect of the fruit, oak barrels with light heating for certain vintages.
