Clos De Mounissens - David Poutays
Red wines are entitled to the Bordeaux Rouge or Bordeaux Supérieur appellation depending on their level. We also kept very old apple trees and pear trees from the orchards that occupied until the early 1980s an important place in the town. This diversity of species between fruit trees such as peach, apricot, plum, ensured a balance today seriously weakened by monoculture in agro-chemistry.
Since the decommissioning of my red wine 2003 - twice - by the INAO, I took the initiative from the 2004 vintage, to no longer subject myself to any label. The wines have since been marketed under the name white and red table wine.
The vineyard has been in conversion to biodynamic since October 2002, under control ECOCERT - organic farming - and DEMETER * - biodynamic agriculture.
