The estate is located in Gertwiller, south-west of Strasbourg and a few kilometers from the Rhine, the natural border with Germany. Régis Bard is originally from the region, where he worked for a while in the field of sport as a lifeguard. He said he was a neophyte in wine at that time and had no idea what the future had in store for him. Sometimes luck and encounters in life cause us to change our path. It was when he met the Kreydenweiss family that Régis got the bite of wine and fell in love with living wines and terroir wines. His curiosity led him to document himself, to taste the wines in order to try to understand them. This is how he decides to work in the vineyard. Little by little, he became head of culture, then followed a training course in viticulture and oenology for 2 years. In a self-taught and passionate way, he embarks on the creation of his domain. He works 4 hectares with vines in organic and biodynamic conversion. And in 2019 he made his first vintages. In its cuvées are found musical winks to Manu Chao or Jamiroquaï, but above all and above all a declaration of love for the land, the vines, women, men ... life. Régis is also attentive to the visual representation of his vintages and works with the artist Nathalie Ménager to format and color the labels that enhance his bottles.
