Les Miroudots - Nicolas Bernard
Nicolas BERNARD, a peasant winegrower in Noroy le Bourg, settled in 2016 on his grandparents' farm in Miroudots after a professional reconversion.
He currently operates 3 hectares of vines, 28 hectares of natural meadow and an organic orchard in a preserved environment.
The first two hectares were planted in 2017 and the third in 2020.
The grape varieties are very diverse with 9 grape varieties, 4 of which are disease resistant.
The grape varieties consist of:
- For whites from Auxerrois, Savagnin, Muscaris and Souvignier Gris.
- For the reds of Syrah, Poulsard, Gamaret, Leon Millot and Artaban.
The terroir is shallow clay-limestone with approximately 30 cm of soil.
The vines are planted on old meadows to promote sustainable viticulture on living soils, in fact the biological activity and structure of the soil are exceptional.
The harvest is done manually in small boxes to keep the grapes intact until the cellar.
Vinification is done naturally without the use of oenological products to obtain lively wines characteristic of the terroir. 100% Grape.
The Marcs are distilled to make a liqueur wine and an eau de vie.
The range consists of a white wine, a red and a half, a crémant rosé and a liqueur wine.
