The domaine de la petite empreinte is very young, 2020 is our first vintage. It is also very small, so far we only have 0.76 ha in production in the town of Saint Bris le Vineux in Yonne, spread over 2 plots (one for Sauvignon and one for Pinot). We have started the conversion to organic farming. We use green manures, pruning pruning etc. Our goal is to try to limit inputs into wine as much as possible. Mélissa discovers the world of wine in Ardèche (her region of origin) by doing a 3-month internship paid by the region in an organic and / or natural winegrower's CUMA (Sylvain Bock, the two lands or even Jérôme Jouret, Gérald Oustric, Azzonni ... etc). She then completed a BTS viti oeno alternately at the Labet estate in the Jura. Subsequently she worked in Pommard for the harvest and then spent a season in the vines in Marsannay la Côte at Domaine Bruno Clair. Then return to Ardèche to the cooperative cellar of Tain l'hermitage to experience a little more the vinification of reds (from its region), then to a small winegrower in Saint Joseph. A quick tour of Bailly Lapierre's cellar for the 2020 harvest and currently full-time with an organic winegrower / cereal grower who owns 5 ha in the Chablis appellation in addition to our small farm of course. Romain comes from a wine family in Yonne, he returned to his origins in 2015, making the seasons in different regions (Mas del perie, Lapierre estate, etc.). he then spent 2 years on a work-study basis with JF Ganevat. After that, he took a bachelor's degree in vine science in Dijon, working at the same time at Dominique Derain. he was then hired in a 90ha estate in Grignan, the adherents as deputy technical director, where he spent 2 years. From 2020, he shares his time between the family estate and our small estate.
