Bar
Giovanni Battista Mesina, is a third-generation shepherd originally from Sardinia, now established in Pianello near Perugia in Umbria. Vermentuzzo is spontaneously fermented with wild yeast, short skin contact (about 2 days) and aged in steel tanks without fining, filtering or added sulfur. The nose is citrusy with tropical notes (pineapple, nectarine), white flowers, light spice and mineral freshness. And the taste is dry with nice acidity, fresh, slightly salty minerality and a stony finish. Vermentuzzo is a fresh and terroir-driven natural white wine with unique character — perfect for those seeking something unfiltered and aromatic, yet still well-driven and food-friendly. An excellent representative of Umbria, where minimal intervention shows plenty of personality. Alc. 13,5% Vol.
