Edwald Tscheppe is the brother of Andreas and together they are the leaders of the natural winemaking movement in Austria and beyond. This Morillon (which is the local name for the chardonnay variety) was aged for two years in old wooden barrels on its own lees, and therefore has a nice fullness and creaminess. Notes of ripe apple, grapefruit and lemon and richness of saltiness. The ideal serving temperature is 12-14 C degrees.
