Agricola Luyt

Arrived in Chile for the first time in July 1998, he began with cooking and finally became interested in wine. After several years spent between Chile and France, including wine training in Beaune, he decided to really settle in 2006 and create, with the support of his cousin, Matthieu de Genevraye, the domain "Clos Ouvert" . After the 2010 earthquake, Clos Ouvert is forced to close its activity. Louis-Antoine continues the adventure by creating his own wine-making structure with always the objective: to develop a quality "natural" wine. By dint of conviction, hard work and patience, Louis-Antoine Luyt has established himself in Chile as a major player in wine. His unusual career path makes him a recognized "pioneer". Recognized in particular for having created and then exporting wines from the Pais grape variety, he is now trying to diversify his activity by also offering "Pipeño" wines.
