In 2010, they are mainly distributed in Egliseneuve-près-Billom, Chauriat and Corent. These are mostly old vines with high planting densities (10000 plants / ha) and the oldest is 116 years old. These vines are of an amazing biodiversity, we find multiple grape varieties, such as Limberger, Mirefleurien, gamay Fréau, Bouze gamay and multiple varieties of gamay small grain or grosgrain. In these periods of standardization, these grape varieties are an inestimable wealth. These vines are grown with great respect for nature. The vines are grassed. For treatments, I use products based on copper and sulfur as well as fermented extracts of plants or herbal teas such as nettle, horsetail, comfrey to strengthen the natural defenses of the vine. I do not use weed killers or synthetic chemicals. The majority of the work in the vineyard is done manually. In my wines, there is grapes and sweat ... Wines I vinify the plots separately to look for the characteristics of the different soils, according to the nature of the soil. I want to produce small yields and long extractions wines of character. In addition, the respect of the fauna and the flora in the vineyard allows me to vinify with the indigenous yeasts of each soil.
