Ranchelle

Ranchelle is located in the Tuscan Maremma, born in 2014 to make a contribution to the preservation of the historical Maremma wine-growing heritage by producing local wines according to the philosophy of natural wine. Currently Ranchelle consists of 3.5 ha of new vines planted in 2015 and 1 ha of a 60 year old vineyard. The main grape varieties are Ciliegiolo, Alicante, Ansonica and Procanico. The company is certified organic and Vinnatur, the oenological consultant is Marco Giordano (Podere Erica, Chianti). In the vineyards annual green manure and pesticide treatments with only the use of copper and sulfur. In the cellar, no oenological additives and no filtrations.
