The Château de Piote, an authentic and warm place of 14 hectares, produces natural wines, in the Bordeaux and Bordeaux Supérieur appellations with organic and biodynamic work. Located in Val-de-Virvée, 20km north of Bordeaux, our 10 hectares of vines are worked manually. The harvest is entirely manual. The pruning of the vines is carried out using double guyot. We produce 8 different grape varieties, vinify in barrels, cement and stainless steel vats and terracotta and sandstone jars. Our annual production is around 50,000 bottles per year. Our production is 100% natural vinification: no inputs or yeast are added to the wine. The products used to counter illnesses are completely natural: sulphur, copper, herbal teas and homeopathic preparations. We work with respect for our terroir and the environment to offer wines that are healthy and of high quality. Our approach is recognized by awards: Bordeaux Vignoble Committed Trophy by Terre de Vins 2021. In addition to working in the vineyards, Château de Piote aims to create a dynamic model of agriculture. On the farm live sheep, pigs, chickens, ducks and even peacocks. The ultimate goal is to transform the estate into an eco-responsible vineyard, able to live independently. The winemaker, Virginie Aubrion, who took over the estate in 1998, works today with her sons.

Le Château de Piote, lieu authentique et chaleureux de 14 hectares, produit des vins naturels, en appellation Bordeaux et Bordeaux Supérieurs avec un travail en bio et biodynamie. 
Situé à Val-de-Virvée, à 20km au Nord de Bordeaux, nos 10 hectares de vignes sont travaillés manuellement. Les vendanges sont entièrement manuelles. La taille de la vigne est effectuée en guyot double. Nous produisons 8 cépages différents, vinifions en barriques, cuves en ciment et en inox et jarres de terres cuites et de grès. Notre production annuelle est d’environ 50,000 bouteilles par an. 
Notre production est à 100% en vinification naturelle : aucun intrant ni levure ne sont ajoutés au vin.
Les produits utilisés pour contrer les maladies sont entièrement naturels : soufre, cuivre, tisanes à base de plantes et préparations homéopathiques. 
Nous travaillons dans le respect de notre terroir et de l'environnement pour proposer des vins qui soient sains et de qualité.
Notre démarche est reconnue par des récompenses : Trophée Bordeaux Vignoble Engagé par Terre de Vins 2021.
En plus du travail dans les vignes, le Château de Piote se veut de créer un modèle dynamique d’agriculture. Sur la ferme vivent moutons, cochons, poules, canards et même des paons. L’objectif est à terme de transformer le domaine en vignoble éco-responsable, pouvant vivre en autonomie. 
La vigneronne, Virginie Aubrion, qui a repris le domaine en 1998, travaille aujourd’hui avec ses fils.
