Vino Loigi is a small Znojmo winery founded by Vladimír Lojda in 2014 after years of experience. The winery focuses on the production of wines using traditional methods, with minimal use of technology and chemistry, and according to the principles of ecological and biodynamic agriculture. The winery processes grapes from 2.5 ha of its own vineyards located near the Podyjí National Park: Popice — Pod Lesem (RR, MT, TČ) and Havraníky — Skalky (VZ, CH, SG). The wines are vinified and matured in the cellar on Wenceslas Square in the historic center of Znojmo, and bottle-ripened in the ideal conditions of the deep sandstone cellar in Havraníky. Wines spontaneously ferment in barrels and mature on yeast for a long time. An important part of the production is orange wines, the most prominent representative of which are the wines produced in the traditional Georgian kvevri.
