Vincent Jullien and Guillaume Gouerou created Lapati Wines in 2015 in Sagarejo in the Kakheti region of Georgia. This project was born from a desire to experiment around Georgian grape varieties, combining ancestral techniques of winemaking in Qvevri (terracotta amphora) with a French touch without putting aside the technical aspects of the art of making. of wine. The story begins with the natural sparkling wines vinified in Qvevri which they were the first to make in Georgia. The wines they produce are light, expressive and highlight the multitude of aromatic and gustatory possibilities around Georgian grape varieties.
