Quinta Da Ermegeira is Ricardo Melo's dream, after working many years in the United Kingdom, selecting natural wines for the best distributors. In 2018 he decided to create his own project to make them driven by passion for this sector. He settled in Portugal, where he already knew very well the terroirs and grapes that define the wine-growing landscape and bought about 4 hectares of land with 30-year-old vineyards with organic certification. It also works with biodynamic agriculture with the following varieties: Castelão, Alicante Bouschet and Tinta Roriz for reds and Arinto, Chardonnay and Chenin Blanc and Moscatel Graúdo for whites; without adding sulphites without filtering or clarifying your wines.
