Homage to the first wines
From the vine to the glass via the earth.
In 2020, R&eac;mi Jourdy is entrusted with the care of a 450m2 plot of vines planted in 2014
overlooking the village of Villette.
His wish was to produce quality grapes. by having the most positive impact possible on this
environment and developing living wines.
À the vines, everything is manual from pruning to harvesting.
The inter-rows are sown with green manure and flowers which are mown two by one. three times a
year the scythe.
To limit the doses of sulfur and copper during treatments, these are supplemented by
plant herbal teas.
The vines and their environment are protected. also reinforced by spraying with
horn dung and horn silica.
Some vegetable garden trials in planting vines.
À the cellar, there is not really a cellar.
From the harvest to the packaging everything happens in the vines.
The harvested bunches are placed in an amphora, buried on the plot, then trampled under
foot. This is followed by 9 months of maceration during which regular punching down will be carried out.
À At the end of this maceration and after pressing, the wine is preserved. a few months in ladies jeans before being bottled.
