The domaine de la petite empreinte is very young, 2020 is our first vintage. It is also very small, so far we only have 0.76 ha in production in the town of Saint Bris le Vineux in Yonne, spread over 2 plots (one for Sauvignon and one for Pinot). We have started the conversion to organic farming. We use green manures, pruning pruning etc. Our goal is to try to limit inputs into wine as much as possible. Mélissa discovers the world of wine in Ardèche (her region of origin) by doing a 3-month internship paid by the region in an organic and / or natural winegrower's CUMA (Sylvain Bock, the two lands or even Jérôme Jouret, Gérald Oustric, Azzonni ... etc). She then completed a BTS viti oeno alternately at the Labet estate in the Jura. Subsequently she worked in Pommard for the harvest and then spent a season in the vines in Marsannay la Côte at Domaine Bruno Clair. Then return to Ardèche to the cooperative cellar of Tain l'hermitage to experience a little more the vinification of reds (from its region), then to a small winegrower in Saint Joseph. A quick tour of Bailly Lapierre's cellar for the 2020 harvest and currently full-time with an organic winegrower / cereal grower who owns 5 ha in the Chablis appellation in addition to our small farm of course. Romain comes from a wine family in Yonne, he returned to his origins in 2015, making the seasons in different regions (Mas del perie, Lapierre estate, etc.). he then spent 2 years on a work-study basis with JF Ganevat. After that, he took a bachelor's degree in vine science in Dijon, working at the same time at Dominique Derain. he was then hired in a 90ha estate in Grignan, the adherents as deputy technical director, where he spent 2 years. From 2020, he shares his time between the family estate and our small estate.

Le domaine de la petite empreinte est tout jeune, 2020 est notre premier millésime. Il est aussi tout petit, nous n’avons pour l’instant que 0,76 ha en production sur la commune de saint bris le vineux dans l’Yonne répartis sur 2 parcelles (une de sauvignon et une de pinot).
Nous avons commencé la conversion vers l’agriculture biologique.
Nous utilisons des engrais verts, pratiquons la taille poussart etc.
Notre but est d’essayer de limiter au maximum les intrants en vinifs.

Mélissa découvre le monde du vin en Ardèche (sa région d’origine) en effectuant un stage de 3 mois rémunéré par la région dans une CUMA de vigneron en bio et/ou nature ( Sylvain Bock, les deux terres ou encore Jérôme Jouret, Gérald Oustric, Azzonni...etc). Elle effectue ensuite un BTS viti oeno en alternance au domaine Labet dans le Jura. Par la suite elle à travaillé à Pommard pour les vendanges puis fait une saison dans les vignes à  Marsannay la Côte au Domaine Bruno Clair. Ensuite retour en Ardèche à la Cave coopérative de Tain l'hermitage pour expérimenter un peu plus la vinification des rouges (de sa région), puis chez un petit vigneron en Saint Joseph. Un petit tour par la cave de Bailly Lapierre pour les vendanges 2020 et actuellement à temps plein chez un viticulteur/céréalier bio qui possède 5 ha en appellation Chablis en plus de notre petite exploitation évidemment.

Romain est lui issu d'une famille viticole de l'Yonne, il revient à ses origines en 2015, en faisant les saisons dans différentes régions (Mas del perie, domaine Lapierre..). il passe ensuite 2 ans en alternance chez JF Ganevat. Après cela, il passe une licence sciences de la vigne à dijon, en travaillant en même temps chez Dominique Derain. il est ensuite embauché dans un domaine de 90ha a Grignan les adhémar comme directeur technique adjoint, où il passe 2 ans. A partir de 2020, il partage son temps entre le domaine familial et notre petit domaine.
