We have been established at Terres Vivantes for 28 years, cultivating and vinifying 5.5 ha of Beaujolais Villages and Vin de France vines for our 6 non-PDO grape varieties; and 5 hectares of ancient varieties of cereals that we store, grind and bake at home. the farm, twice a week. All in certified biodynamics.

Our work which for us consists of: taking care of the details in these rich ecosystems that constitute our plots and the vintages that result from them.

We have been certified organic by Ecocert since 2009 and have obtained the Demeter mention since 2021. We are the oldest members of the association of "Vigneron.nes du Vivant en Beaujolais" which works with heart for the installation and experimentation of agroecology methods in the Beaujolais vineyard.

Each plot has been bordered by bushy hedges since 2006. We plant 200 trees (mainly fruit trees) in each plot. per hectare, in the vineyards. 6 ponds nearby proximity or in the plots have been dug by us. Perches birds of prey, dry stones for reptiles, nest boxes nocturnal, 10 hives... in short, our obsession is to always bring more diversity to our lives. for better balance.

Concerning the soils, a small annual contribution of organic cattle manure is spread, followed by a spraying of our Lifofer (fermented preparation based on the wheat bran which falls from our mill) as a biological activator of microorganisms. And of course 2 horns of dung in autumn and spring.

Our vines are experimental fields for non-tillage of the soil by mulching with the stubble of our wheat and for active research into non-competitive ground cover plants.

Non-traumatic pruning and trellising without shearing (When the vintage allows) are applied.

After a manual harvest, we adapt winemaking specific to the grapes. each plot.

Having thoroughly unlearned my wine courses, I now enjoy accompanying the grapes in their fermentation, with the only levers being a base of vat, inerting with carbon dioxide, temperature effects and reasonable SO2 additions (or not) according to each wine.
