The winery has been run by her family since 8 generations, in the southern part of Pfalz. Lelle decided to produce under the "Lelle ihr Wein!" label, to show a distinction between the classic wines her family makes and her own wines. "Lelle ih Wein!" wines are focused on organic viticulture and natural methods in the cellar. Lelle has been inspired by different internships she made especially in Austria and Alto Adige, and is becoming more and more interested in biodynamic practices. The family started to cultivate following the organic and biodynamic principles in 2017 and is Organic certified winery since 2020. Lelle works only with hand picked grapes, spontaneous fermentation, maceration on the skins, never filters and adds either zero or very low amounts of sulfur. The actual production includes some wines made from Riesling and a cuveé made from Riesling, Gewürztraminer and Grauburgunder.
