We have Eco friendly Vine Grower & Natural Wine Making in village Sadmeli, Racha Region, west-north of Georgia. Our Vineyard is located on the right slope (looking towards south-east and south) of River Rioni, main soil type is clay. Vineyard is surrounded with mountains, altitude is 540 meters above the sea level. Size of the vineyard is 0.5 ha, with 2100 vines in it, 500 of them planted in 1970-73 (Mtsvane, Tsolikouri, Shavi Kabistoni), 1600 vines were planted in Spring of 2018 (Tsulukidzes Tetra, Aleksandrouli, Mujuretuli and Rtskhili). At this moment early we produce 2000 bottles, but we plan to get to 5000 bottles in the next few years. We do only dry wine, reds and amber. We are focused on finding and making rare type grape varieties. Sprayin is done with copper and fungal bacterias. We don’t plough ground, we cut grass and let it stay in the vineyard. All works in the vineyard is done by hand. Harvest time starts in middle of September till end of October. Fermentations starts on the skin of the grapes, then we separate it from the juice, depending the grape variety. Wine is fermented and aged in Stainless steel tanks. Sulphate is used as little quantity as possible, in many cases we don’t use it at all. At this time we sell our wine in Georgia, France, Denmark and USA
