The winery Orgosa di Musina Giuseppe, born in 2002, was the first company to produce bottled wine in Orgosolo. The Orgosa vineyards are located in the Locoe valley, on the Nuoro-Orgosolo road, and are located on land composed of granite breakdown sand. The main grape variety grown is Cannonau, as well as Carignano and Sangue di Cristo in small quantities. Orgosa uses a biodynamic agriculture system, with the sowing of legumes and grasses in the field, without the use of chemical fertilizers or systemic treatments. For treatments, copper sulfur is used in very small quantities.
