In the Venetian dialect "te si fora" is said to friends when they combine one. Unusual people, who choose with their hearts rather than their heads, are a bit of a "hole" here. But fora is also the open space, out there, in the fields, among the vineyards. Where we are: Giovanni and Simone, two friends who love the outdoors and good wine. Fora is our project for the recovery of a territory, that of the Berici Hills that we love and that we live, and of the man-plant-soil balance. Our vineyard (1 hectare facing south-east) is located in Nanto, in the hills kissed by the sun: a magical place, which invites you to just stay fora. We work in the vineyard two typical varieties of the area: the white Garganega, solar and mineral; the red Tai, blood and passion. The vineyard is conducted manually except for the treatments (sulfur and copper in very low percentages), for which we use the tractor. The harvest is manual to select the grapes. In the cellar the fermentations are spontaneous, with indigenous yeasts, we carry out only some decanting during the vinification (no clarification or other procedures). We bottle when we feel the wine is ready, obtaining different wines every year. We do not manipulate the grapes to obtain a product that does not represent us, we do not use chemicals, we take care of the plants and we harvest by hand. We are what we drink, and our wines are like us: natural, true, from the heart. In one word: FORA

In dialetto veneto “te si fora” si dice agli amici quando ne combinano una. Le persone insolite, che scelgono con il cuore prima che con la testa, sono un po’ "fora" qui.

Ma fora è anche lo spazio aperto, là fuori, nei campi, tra le vigne. Dove siamo noi: Giovanni e Simone, due amici amanti dell’aria aperta e del vino buono.

Fora è il nostro progetto di recupero di un territorio, quello dei Colli Berici che amiamo e che viviamo, e dell’equilibrio uomo-piante-terreno. Il nostro vigneto (1 ettaro esposto a sud-est) si trovano a Nanto, in colline baciate dal sole: un posto magico, che ti invita proprio a stare fora.

Lavoriamo in vigna due varietà tipiche della zona: la bianca Garganega, solare e minerale; il rosso Tai, sangue e passione.

Il vigneto viene condotto manualmente tranne per i trattamenti (zolfo e rame in percentuali molto basse), per i quali usiamo il trattore.

La vendemmia è manuale per selezionare le uve.
In cantina le fermentazioni sono spontanee, con lieviti indigeni, effettuiamo solo alcuni travasi durante la vinificazione (nessuna chiarifica né altri procedimenti). Imbottigliamo quando sentiamo il vino pronto, ottenendo ogni anno vini diversi. Non manipoliamo le uve per ottenere un prodotto che non ci rappresenta, non utilizziamo prodotti chimici, ci prendiamo cura delle piante e vendemmiamo a mano.

Siamo quello che beviamo, e i nostri vini sono come noi: naturali, veri, di cuore. In una parola: FORA
