We are the third generation and have been producing natural wines for twenty years. We have studied spontaneous fermentations for a long time and now we know how to make bio-artisan wines that tell the story of our territory and which maintain their integrity and elegance for many years. We are in Tuscany, in the Upper Valdarno, an area between Arezzo and Florence. In this area, PIAN DEL PINO is spread over approximately 15 hectares (of which 4.5 are vineyards). The cultivation method is organic, but we have studied many natural cultivation systems with the aim of using as little external products as possible (including copper and sulfur) to produce healthy and vital grapes, therefore able to ferment spontaneously without problems. All our wines are certified organic and come only from our plants, mostly local vines (Colorino del Valdarno, Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Malvasia, Trebbiano) or other vines that the dynamics of the past have brought to our area and which here have found a nice expression (like for example the Tempranillo). We produce seven labels (they will become nine from the 2022 vintage), very different wines but all united by a natural elegance. Noi siamo la terza generazione e da venti anni produciamo vini naturali.
Abbiamo studiato a lungo le fermentazioni spontanee e adesso sappiamo come fare vini bio-artigianali che raccontino il nostro territorio e che mantengano la loro integrità ed eleganza per molti anni.
Siamo in Toscana, nel Valdarno Superiore, una zona compresa tra Arezzo e Firenze. Su questo territorio PIAN DEL PINO si sviluppa su circa 15 ettari (di cui 4,5 vitati). Il metodo di coltivazione è biologico, ma abbiamo studiato molti sistemi di coltivazioni naturali con lo scopo di utilizzare il meno possibile prodotti esterni (rame e zolfo compresi) per produrre uve sane e vitali, in grado quindi di fermentare spontaneamente senza problemi.
Tutti i nostri vini sono certificati bio e provengono solo dalle nostre piante, in gran parte vitigni del territorio (Colorino del Valdarno, Sangiovese, Canaiolo, Malvasia, Trebbiano) o altri vitigni che la dinamiche del passato hanno portato nel nostro territorio e che qui hanno trovato una bella espressione ( come per esempio il  Tempranillo).
Produciamo sette etichette (diventeranno nove dall’annata 2022), vini tra loro molto diversi ma tutti accomunati da una naturale eleganza.
