La Vigne Sauvage

David Humbert

4 5 8959 KM

High in the French Alps David Humbert farms 1.5 hectares of mostly Chasselas and a little Gamay on the banks of Lac Léman. David created the domaine in 2018 and the vineyards are split into two small parcels one in the appelation Marignan, the other in Marin, both on limestone and clay soils. He farms Biodynamically and doesn’t use a tractor in an effort to preserve the structure of his vineyard’s soil. All vineyard and cellar work is done by hand, and the wines themselves see neither fining nor filtration and have no additions.
