FARM TO BOTTLE
Natural wine, to us, means more in the vineyard and less in the cellar. The work we put into farming intentionally allows us to take a hands-off approach to winemaking, adding nothing & taking nothing away and leading to a pure representation of place in every bottle
The Vines
Our mission is to prove that hand-farmed vines and organic, sustainable, regenerative farming practices lead to the highest quality wines and the truest representations of place. All our farming practices are organic. We are working hard to build diverse vineyard space in Sonoma, free of chemicals and pesticides. All pruning, picking, suckering and tasting is done manually. The Lore
Our team has deep Sonoma roots tracing back many generations. With Marioni Wine, the hope is to honor this rich past and this mystical mountain valley we call home - bringing our Sonoma vineyard sites back to nature and making good, honest, natural wine with no smoke and mirrors; just grapes. We are continuing the philosophy of Dan Marioni's first mentor, Tony Coturri, and feel privileged to get to follow in his footsteps. We have endless respect for the land, the seasons, the soil, the cycles, the fungi, the flora and fauna, the vines, the grapes and the cosmos. In the cellar, we capture the wild spirit of these elements to make gripping, ripping, alive, juicy, bright and pure Sonoma wine.
