We are a small winery located in a garage, our relationship with wine began four generations ago, as always selling to individuals, to this day we still have a clients descendents from those beginning.
Around the 80s my mother Constantina began to take care of the vineyards, and it was in 1999 when she founded the winery to be able to sell wine labeled under the protection of the D.O. But in 10 years we realized that this protection was a toll on our wines, and a burden because it did not allow us to produce other wines outside the norm.
So in 2010 we began to produce natural wines without intervention and outside the D.O. Rias Baixas, which allowed us to develop all the knowledge that we had accumulated generation after generation about our wines, in addition to exploring other new vinifications.
We currently work outside the D.O. Rias Baixas without intervention in the vineyards and in the winery, this means that we have retaken in our vineyards the infusions of nettles, garlic broth, horsetail, propolis, diatomaceous earth, etc. .. all work in the vineyards is carried out in a manual, we do not fertilize with chemical synthesis substrates, and we do not use herbicides and pesticides.
No intervention in the winery, fermentation with indigenous yeasts, we do not filter, we do not stabilize and we do not add SO2 to our wines. That is, nothing added or taken away. 100% fermented grape juice.
The choice of each deposit is determined by the wine itself, where we use the traditional stainless steel tanks for the different albariño elaborations, we give life to the chestnut barrels with unique albariños, we play with the oak barrels, we discover the skin macerations in clay amphoras, we keep the essence of centuries-old vineyards in porcelain stoneware amphoras, we explore vinifications in concrete eggs and terracotta eggs, we observe our albariños in micro spherical glass tanks ...
