Zinneke Wine is the result of an encounter between two wine enthusiasts. On the one hand there is Fabrice, a wine lover for many years, he decides with a couple of friends and his wife, Emilie, to start importing French natural wines. This is how the meeting between Athena and Fabrice could have taken place. Athéna, manager of a natural wine bar since 2019, is passionate about wine, but beyond the bar, she is thirsty to learn and understand what is hidden behind winemaking. During a drunken evening, the idea comes... to make wine! After a short time, Fabrice left the import adventure to devote himself more seriously to winemaking with Athéna. They then decide to start trading. They pick up grapes all over France, first from friends and then from friends of friends. They create a network and have more and more opportunities and choices in the grape varieties they decide to bring back. Two or three round trips by truck, they harvest themselves, bring the grapes back to Liège in a garage and the winemaking work can begin! Zinneke Wine, c’est le fruit d’une rencontre entre deux passionnés du vin.
D’une part il y a Fabrice, amoureux  de vins depuis de nombreuses années, il décide avec un couple d’amis et sa femme, Emilie, de se lancer dans l’importation de vins nature Français.
C’est comme cela que la rencontre entre Athéna et Fabrice a pu avoir lieu.
Athéna gèrante d’un bar à vins nature depuis 2019, se passionne pour le vin, mais au-delà du bar, elle a soif d’apprendre et de comprendre ce qu’il se cache derrière la vinification.

Lors d’une soirée un peu arrosée, l’idée vient… faire du vin !
Après peu de temps Fabrice quitte l’aventure de l’importation pour se consacrer plus sérieusement à la vinification avec Athéna.

Ils décident alors de commencer l’activité de négociant.
Ils vont chercher du raisin un peu partout en France, d’abord chez les copains et puis chez les copains des copains.
Ils se créent un réseaux et ont de plus en plus d’opportunités et de choix dans les cépages qu’ils décident de ramener.

Deux trois allé-retour en camion, ils vendanges eux-mêmes, ramènent le raisin à Liège dans un garage et le travaille de la vinification peut commencer !

Tout se fait à la main, sans souffre, sans rien, juste beaucoup de passion, beaucoup d’amour et très peu d’heures de sommeil…!

Chaque année les cuvées changent, les cépages changent.

« Le but c’est pas vraiment de choisir les cépages, mais plutôt  de prendre ce que le vigneron a de disponible pour nous et puis c’est un bon excercice pour s’entraîner.
