Our company Antichi Vigneti Manca is a small family-run farm managed by us sisters Alessia and Noemi (li sureddi in our dialect), our father Pinuccio and Gianpaolo (Alessia's husband). We cultivate olive trees and 6 hectares of mainly sapling vineyards in the north-west of Sardinia, in Romangia and more precisely in the municipality of Sorso. Here we keep some ancient clones including the Retagliadu nieddu (cannonau), pascal, vermentino, white gira and many other native tones. In the vineyard we only use contact products (sulfur and copper), no type of chemical weeding and all processes are done manually including the harvest. In the cellar the fermentations are spontaneous without the use of any enzyme or oenological adjuvant. All the clarification and filtration processes take place through their natural process.
