WINeFare core values:

Equity. As WINeFare is an acronym for Women in Natural Wine, our central mission is to work towards equity for women who work in our field, eradicate discrimination and disrespectful behavior, and promote women’s contributions and create opportunities for women who work in this industry.

One struggle, one fight. As we fight for our rights, we fight for the rights of other marginalized communities in the wine industry, including people of color, the LBGTQ community, all genders, all ages, disabled, immigrants and workers.

Earth first. We are committed to working with growers who farm without synthetic inputs, promote biodiversity, harvest by hand and are responsible stewards of their land and all species that live and work in their vineyards.

Minimal intervention. We promote wines that are fermented naturally, do not have added sugar, enzymes, nutrients, blocked malolactic fermentation, sterile filtration or pasteurization. Limited sulfur additions are permitted.

Give back, pay forward. Many people do not have the resources to buy food and other necessities, let alone wine. We love and appreciate the wine we drink but want other’s who are less fortunate to have the basics. It is our mission to use industry resources and WINeFare to help other people as much as we can.
