8greenbottles was started by Ramona and Philipp back in 2018. They first fell in love with natural wine because of it’s taste, unique labels and the openness of the community. To them natural wine is the essence of what wine is: it’s wine stripped down to its core. Which is a beautiful thought.

Ramona and Philipp always felt like the conventional wine industry was an intimidating place, where connaisseurs often looked down on people asking questions. Their idea was to make a safe space, where everyone was welcome to come, and no one should feel ashamed to ask for advice. In their own words ‘We try to create a welcoming and accessible context for our wines, so that hopefully more people can enjoy them and learn about them!’

Since they began, they have opened two shops in Berlin and their team has grown to include Anne, Jess, Anna, Léa, Melis and Kostia. 🙌
